At MPOWER, most of our personal training clients come directly from physical therapy following some type of orthopedic issue or surgery, giving our personal trainers a unique amount of experience working with physical therapists and working around orthopedic issues. No, anyone can use personal training, massage therapy, or nutrition services at MPOWER Physical Therapy, regardless of whether you’re in physical therapy.

Generally, no. Our personal trainers work with individuals of all ages, from children to the aging population.

No, our facilities are reserved for physical therapy patients and personal training clients to ensure the equipment availability and space to have a great experience.

  • All initial personal training sessions are complimentary.
    • Pricing for 1-on-1 personal training ranges from $75-$100/session.
    •  A more cost-effective way to train is semiprivate personal training (2-3 individuals train with 1 personal trainer at the same time).
    • Semiprivate personal training ranges from $37-$58 per person per session, depending on whether there are 2 or 3 individuals training at the same time.

Unfortunately, in most cases, health insurance does not cover personal training. Some insurance companies may reimburse the cost of personal training. You can call your insurance company prior to paying for a personal trainer to ask if you could be reimbursed.

A nationally recognized personal training certification, a bachelor’s degree, and at least one year of personal training experience.

MPOWER Physical Therapy’s lead personal trainer at each location will connect you with a personal trainer that best fits your goals, location preference, and availability. The lead personal trainer will check in with you throughout your time training at MPOWER to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience and that the personal trainer you were matched with is a great fit!

Your personal trainer will perform a quick movement assessment, guide you through a 15–20-minute trial workout tailored to you, and then help you find a starting point to put you on a successful path to reaching your health & wellness goals.

Form feedback and guidance, cuing to ensure you feel strength-building exercises in the correct muscles, your personal trainer pushing you to your desired level, and a fun, safe, and rewarding training environment.
